§ TERMS & CONDITIONS

Terms & Conditions

Last updated: August 14, 2026

01 Scope

These terms govern automation retainer services agreed via frederikdaneels.com, offered by Extra Paar Handen UG, represented by Frederik Daneels ("I", "me"). By booking a call or agreeing to a retainer, you accept these terms.

02 Services

I act as your automation partner on a recurring monthly retainer: building automations on Make.com (or n8n, if you already run it) connecting the tools you use, then monitoring, fixing, and extending them for as long as the retainer runs. The exact scope, deliverables, and monthly fee for your retainer are the ones agreed in writing after the audit call, not a fixed public price.

03 How a Retainer Starts

  • You book a free audit call describing what's costing you manual time.
  • I propose what to build first, what it replaces, and what the monthly retainer covers.
  • Once agreed, I send the first month's invoice; the retainer starts once it's paid.
  • I build the first automation, tested with your real data, inside your own Make.com (or n8n) account.
  • From then on, the retainer runs monthly: I monitor and fix what's live, and we scope the next automation together as needed.

04 Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining active accounts and subscriptions for your own tools (e.g. Make.com, your CRM, invoicing software) and for their costs. These are not included in the retainer fee. You are responsible for providing accurate access and information needed to build and maintain the automations in a timely manner; delays on your side may delay delivery or fixes.

05 Pricing & Payment

There is no fixed public price. The fee for your retainer is the one agreed in writing before the first invoice, scoped to what's being built and maintained. Prices are shown in EUR and exclude VAT unless stated otherwise. Invoices are issued monthly and payable within 14 days of the invoice date, via the payment method stated on the invoice.

06 Delivery Timeline

Timelines for the first automation and for any new automation added later are communicated individually once scope and access are confirmed. I aim to deliver quickly, but no specific delivery date is guaranteed unless confirmed in writing.

07 Cancellation

The retainer runs month-to-month with no fixed term. Either party may cancel with written notice before the next billing date; the retainer ends at the close of the then-current paid month. Fees already paid for the current month are not refunded, but no further invoices are issued after cancellation takes effect.

08 Right of Withdrawal (Consumers)

If you are a consumer (acting outside your trade, business, craft, or profession) within the EU, you generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal from a service contract without giving reasons.

By requesting that work on the first automation start before the 14-day period ends, you expressly request early performance. If you withdraw after work has started but before the first automation is fully delivered, you must pay an amount proportionate to the work already performed up to that point, capped at one month's retainer fee. After the first 14 days, ordinary cancellation under section 07 applies instead.

To withdraw, contact me at the email address in section 13.

09 Liability

I am liable without limitation for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, and for injury to life, body, or health. For ordinary negligence, I am liable only for breach of a material contractual obligation, limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract. I am not liable for outages, changes, or pricing of third-party platforms (e.g. Make.com, n8n, or the tools your automations connect to) that are outside my control.

10 Confidentiality

Any access, credentials, or business information you share to build and maintain your automations are used solely to deliver the agreed service and are not shared with third parties beyond what's needed to build and support it (see the privacy policy for processors involved).

11 Ownership

Every automation is built directly inside your own Make.com (or n8n) account, and you own the underlying scenario. Ongoing monitoring, fixes, and support are provided as part of the active retainer. If the retainer ends, the automation keeps running as-is inside your own account, but is no longer actively maintained by me.

12 Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by German law, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, mandatory consumer-protection provisions of your country of residence remain unaffected. For business customers, the place of jurisdiction is Rahden, Germany.
