01 What it is

Inschrijvingsplatform ("enrollment platform" in Dutch) is a web application I build and run for training providers, coaches and venues who are my clients. It keeps registrations, participants, courses, payments, invoices and participant emails in one place, so nothing has to be entered twice and no registration gets lost.

My clients manage everything themselves in the client portal at frederikdaneels.com/portal. The platform is not open for public sign-up: access is set up by me for each client.

02 What it does

• Registration form: participants register for a course on the training provider's own website. Prices, early-bird discounts and discount codes are calculated by the platform.
• Payments and invoices: payments run through the training provider's own Mollie account, invoices through their own Billit account.
• Participant emails: confirmations, payment reminders and practical information before a course, sent automatically at the moment the training provider chooses.
• Overview: per course date who registered, who paid and who is still open, plus participant feedback after the course.

03 How it uses Google

A training provider can connect Google for two separate, optional things, each with "Connect with Google" in the client portal:

• Their mailbox, to send participant emails from their own Gmail or Google Workspace address, so participants receive them from an address they already know.
• Their Google Drive, to receive a nightly copy of their own data (a Google Sheet to read, a database file and a README), so they always hold their data themselves.

• Access requested: the email address of the connected account (openid, email); for the mailbox, permission to send email (gmail.send); for Google Drive, access only to files the platform creates itself (drive.file). Nothing more.
• Mailbox: it only sends the emails the training provider has set up in the platform, to their own participants. It never reads, searches, deletes or changes email in the mailbox, and has no access to contacts or calendar.
• Google Drive: it only writes the copy to its own folder "Klantenportaal frederikdaneels back-up" and removes its own old database files after 30 days. It cannot see, read or change any other file in the Drive.
• Disconnecting: an administrator can disconnect the mailbox or Google Drive in the client portal at any time. The platform then revokes its access at Google and deletes the stored token. Copies already in the Drive stay with the training provider.
• Limited Use: the platform's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
